Tokyo Mithaiwala first opened in Tokyo, Japan in 2019 as the country's first dedicated Indian mithai shop. The concept quickly earned a loyal following, combining authentic Indian sweets with Japanese inspired presentation and hospitality. As demand grew, Tokyo Mithaiwala expanded to offer nationwide delivery across Japan, allowing customers throughout the country to celebrate special occasions with handcrafted mithai.

Building on this success, the brand expanded to Vancouver in 2021 with an evolved concept featuring innovative fusion mithai, premium High Tea, handcrafted desserts, and a warm café experience.
